In my quest to drink a little less caffeine, I remembered I had a lovely Chinese green tea from Upton Tea Imports.
I reached for a fine bone china, made in England with a Windsor Rose pattern. It’s such a delicate pattern and seemed appropriate for the green tea and a Sunday morning. My only issue is that it’s difficult to get a good grip on the teacup itself. You most definitely drink with your pinkies up!
The tea is a Chung Hao Jasmine finest grade loose tea with a wonderful jasmine scent. Only brewing about 2 minutes, it produces a delightful aroma throughout and the infused leaves are lovely.
I had some work to do on a couple of websites I’m working on, so I settled in at my desk, when I realized the view I had. It was a beautiful day out and the Union Jack flag on the dock was billowing in the early spring wind.
