I have a lot of mugs. I mean a LOT of mugs. The cupboard is full. My mugs runneth over. Did I mention I have many mugs?
I have some favorites that fit in the hand well, or hold just the right amount of tea. I also have sentimental favorites from places I have visited. Today’s mug falls into the later category.

We visited York, England back in 2013 and the famous Betty’s Tearoom was a must-see for me. You can read my review of our visit on my blog post here: When in York, one MUST Visit Bettys!
When I use this mug, I am immediately taken back to that fun visit. It’s not the most ornate or large mug out there, but I love how it shows what makes this spot special: the food, the service, the conversation with friends, and of course the tea.

I no longer have any of Betty’s tea on-hand, but I did receive a beautiful tin of English Breakfast Tea from my boss shortly before I retired. I felt it was appropriate for today with the late Queen Elizabeth looking on.

Now that I’m retired, I’ll have more energy and time to enjoy all of my mugs and tea, so LOOK OUT! 🙂
Cheers!
