Day 5 – Departure

If you read yesterday’s post, especially at the end, you might be wondering how I’m feeling this morning. It would be correct to say I am a “little rough around the edges” but doing okay. It’s overcast and cooler today in Boston. We were so fortunate to have incredible weather during our stay.

I decided to treat myself to a nice breakfast in the room while I’m packing. With the two room service orders and the many times I have cracked open the mini bar & snacks, I should be expecting a hefty bill of “additional charges” upon checking out. BUT…I think it was all worth it.

Bacon, eggs, toast and orange juice delivered to my room and still hot

I am leaving with some fond memories and an additional bag full of goodies and new teas to try.

Cheers!

What a lovely, lovely experience for you! I want two things right now…to go see Boston and a pot of fresh brewed tea…I’d best take the easiest of the two for right now. Tea it is then!

Really enjoyed the whole blog, Heidi, wonderful!

What a perfect ending to such a wonderul trip! That breakfast looks like something that someone would write about in a novel. I couldn’t be happier for you that you expierienced this. You could not have picked a better thing for you to do celebrating 20 years ago that you had your Aneurysm. Happy Annie-versary ❤
