So, I broke two rules today: I had tea with COFFEEcake and drank Scottish BREAKFAST tea at 4 pm in the afternoon.
Although March just arrived, we’re expecting another snow storm tomorrow night here in Maine. With lamb chops marinating overnight and a soup cooking in the slow cooker, I needed something sweet. This Apple-Cinnamon Coffeecake fit the bill perfectly!
The cake is very easy to prepare and I had some Granny Smith apples already on hand. Perhaps a tad over baked, but still moist and tasty and a perfect treat for a snowstorm.
