After a long day of yard work and helping my husband move boards for our deck redo, it was high time for some tea!
I was excited to finally see my old daffodils are starting to bloom. So, I cut a few to add a touch of color. They’re called ‘Smokey Bear’ and I bought them for one reason: we have a cat named Smokey and we call him Smokey Bear on occasion. That being said, they really are lovely flowers. A double daffodil with a subtle, but strong scent.

My tea of choice today was an indulgent Orange Oolong Supreme from eteaket in Scotland. I had this mailed over from the UK along with one of their Blooming Marvellous Green tea candles. They’re the perfect combo of sensory delights.
This oolong is a lovely mix of earthy tones and a citris kick. I can’t wait to try it iced during warmer days, which I hope are SOON. I’m getting very tired of cool and cloudy weather this spring.
An addition that arrived just today were the Oakcakes from this month’s Wee Box shipment that is full of Scottish goodies. They are WONDERFUL and surprisingly fresh.

Then to top it all off, I grabbed my Tain Pottery teacup & saucer with a plate for the oatcakes. My favorite Scottish pottery.
Although they’re fuzzy in the photo below, a beaver going up stream put in an appearance and a robin in the yard was there as well. Ah, spring!!
