July arrived today with a glorious flurry! After a few very muggy and warm couple of days, the temperatures are cooler, there is a nice warm breeze, and flowers are starting to bloom everywhere. FINALLY!

My vintage Burleigh Blue Calico teacup and and my standard white teapot heighten the colors amongst the green and blues of the sky and flourishing plants around the pond.

With my roses just starting to bloom, I chose the Rose Pouchong tea from Fortnum and Mason. My wee bouquet of flowers in the blue jar was chosen from a lovely bouquet my husband bought me last week for our wedding anniversary. Pretty soon my vases will be filled with oxeye daisies and roses!

The sounds of the birds and the water trickling from the fountain (see video below) is an elixir for my soul first thing in the morning. Happy July!
