(See photos at end of post) My second of three deliveries from Love British Tea club arrived. It’s a Welsh Tea this month with some things I’ve never tried before. The Welsh Breakfast tea has already taken up residence in my desk at the office and I’ve left the Royal Mint and Paned Pen Llyn

    Tea of The Month Club

I love tea. I love black tea. I love British and Scottish tea, so it was only natural I signed up for the Tea Time Club out of the UK for three months. It’s expensive, I don’t care. πŸ™‚ It makes me happy. I received my first beautifully packaged box from the UK for January

    British tea? Yes, please!

Last year, I discovered Quantily & Co on Instagram. They are based in the UK and offer themed boxes of goodies from England, Ireland, Wales, and Scotland. I ordered up a Christmas themed box last year and a Scottish themed box. They are expensive, they take awhile to get here, but the goodies included are

    Autumnal Tea

With this lovely warm weather we have been experiencing here in Maine, I just had to enjoy another tea outside. But before all of that happened, I baked up some Snickerdoodle Bars, gathered some colorful leaves, and cut the few remaining roses from my shrub rose bushes. Highland Tea

As has become my annual tradition after attending each Maine Highland Games, I buy some scones and tea at the games and enjoy them thoroughly the next day at home with my Tain Pottery with the Glenaldie thistle pattern. I showed GREAT restraint at the one vendor that always shows up with the mother lode

    Celtic Themed Tea

I am sure I’ve posted FAR too many “Celtic Themed” teas, but I canna help myself. After baking up some mint-chocolate cookies using my Celtic designed cookie press, I grabbed some Celtic Cottage tea from Trail Lodge Teas. Of course, I had to use my Tain Pottery Scottish teapot, teacup and saucer. Okay, so the

    Unexpected Gifts from Friends

Every once in awhile, a friend does something special that makes one smile. Yesterday’s mail provided one of those wonderful surprises. My great friend back in NY sent me some Russian Caravan tea and some Swedish shortbread cookies she picked up at a Scandinavian Festival she and her husband attended last weekend. They were accompanied

4th of July Tea & Cookies

It was a beautiful, summer morning for this year’s 4th of July. Some tea and cookies on the deck were in order. I cut some rose blooms off one of my shrub roses. Enough to just make a wee bouquet. It’s a shame all of the flowers on one stem don’t bloom all at once.
