On a gray, humid morning last week I felt the atmosphere required a smokey tea. So, I reached for the Sea Smoke seaweed tea I reviewed a couple of months ago.

The very earthy combo of lapsang souchong and dulse seaweed from Cup of Sea here in Maine certainly added a bit of zoom to the morning. Then I went out and clipped a few more daisies from the garden and discovered my heliopsis were also blooming. Although quite waterlogged, they added a bit of color amongst the haze outside.

I used my wee glass teapot on purpose so I would be able to view the dusty colors of the seaweed while brewing. Add the soft colorful petals of the flowers and my color scheme was complete for the morning.
