January in Maine brings cold, snow, and ice! So staying in and keeping warm and cozy are a must.

I settled down with some blueberry scones and a lovely cup of Tower of London Blend tea. The tea was a gift from a friend. Despite it’s namesake, this black tea offers up a far more friendly atmosphere than the “tower” would indicated. Black tea is blended with dried stone fruit, then finish with oil of bergamot and honey flavor. It paired nicely with the scones.

The stripy Cornishware brought some much-needed color in this darker winter months.
