Ah, the joys of spring in Maine! One day it’s almost 60º, the next it’s snowing. Mother Nature likes to yank our chain this time of year and tease us mercilessly as we come out of our winter hibernation.

Today it is snowing again with sleet, ice, then rain predicted over the next three days. This, as the snow had melted from the previous storm and walking in the lawn provided a much-needed respite. I gathered my Summertime Rose English china with some Royal Blend loose tea from Fortnum & Mason and watched the flakes fall.

It’s funny how after breathing in that warmer, fresh air for a few days, a little bit of snow can pull you right back into the cozy comfort of home and idleness.

Archie, one of our two kitties, joined me in my cozy nook to watch the snow as well.
