Happy National Shortbread Day! As luck would have it, I was gifted with multiple boxes of shortbread over the holidays. So I have a nice selection to choose from to honor the “holiday”.

Walker’s Shortbread from Scotland is by far the best out there. Readily available in the U.S., it’s an easy and tasty gift for sure.

The lemon shortbread isn’t a Walker’s product but I’ve had it before and they are VERY good!

Buttery shortbread makes the perfect companion to a strong cup of Scottish breakfast tea…or any tea, really.
