Spring, Snow & Cinnamon Rolls

It’s the end of March here in Maine. As with most of the United States, we’ve had a mild winter with very little snow. Apparently, Spring is going to make up for that. At least so far, 3 days in.

We’re under winter storm warnings today for up to a foot of snow and ice, so it’s a perfect day to whip up some super-sized cinnamon rolls to enjoy with a warm cup of British Breakfast tea from Republic of Tea. The tea was given to me as a retirement gift from a co-worker and it’s lovely.

I can’t take credit for the cinnamon rolls other than unwrapping the tube and frosting them, but they ARE delicious.

As I sit watching the snow fall in front of my wee electric fireplace, I’m transported back to the colder winter months and that feeling of “cozy” that we all love.

A good day to hunker down inside….OR maybe I’ll try to get in another snowshoe session later. Now that it’s lighter later in the day, it might be a fun activity for dusk. Stay tuned!

Cheers!
