We had a quiet and calm Christmas, which was just fine with us after the year we’ve had. Today I enjoyed the last of the goodies my friend Deb made and sent me from NY and a large pot of Lapsang Souchong tea in my Winterberry teapot.

I am blessed to have such thoughtful friend, who is also a great baker! I’ve had SO much sugar this month though.
