Easter Scones and a New Tea

I have a fully-stocked tea pantry. Does that stop me from trying out some new tea brands? Why, no it doesn’t.

Full Moon Tea Company, a new name to me, is owned by Katie McDonald. I’ve been following her on Threads for a while now, and I’ve enjoyed her witty banter and her passion for tea. Realizing I wanted to support her better, I decided to make a quick order to try out their Smoky Mountains Cowboy Chai

Smokey Mountains Cowboy Chai tea

This blend perfectly combines my love for strong black tea and the comforting spices of a chai. What’s not to love? I rarely add milk or cream to my tea because I only have 1% milk at home, and I don’t believe it enhances the tea’s flavor; instead, it dilutes it. So, I prefer my tea straight black, and WOW, this is exceptional. The Lapsang Souchong adds that delightful smokiness that I love.

The tea blend may not be the most spring-like, but it perfectly complemented the cinnamon goodness of the French Toast scones from King Arthur Baking. I absolutely love these quick mixes from KA.

Colorful chocolate Easter eggs are scattered among the mix-and-match combo of teacup, plate, and teapot. A single, boldly-colored egg sits in my silver egg cup. A small bouquet of flowers completes the setting.

How are YOU using tea this Easter weekend?

Wishing you a Blesses Easter filled with God’s Love, Aunt Heidi & Uncle Dave! What a Beautiful setting. I love that you tried out a new tea from following them on threads and you love it. I was also curious if you ever put milk or creamer in your tea! When I have tea, I only like to put honey or candy tea stirrers in it. I, too, like to taste the flavors of the tea. I just love the french toast scones with your Easter Boquet and easter egg candy. Your tea pot and teacup were perfectly selected for this shoot. Seeing the flowers makes me excited for Spring. Oh, how lovely, that it is here ❤

    Love you,
    Jenny
