Most of the goodies I received as gifts for Christmas have already been consumed because I have absolutely no restraint.
However, the lovely homemade jams my friend back in New York sends me are always a preserved treat I can linger with and savour later in the year.
Okay, so it’s only a week after Christmas but I finally opened up the first jar to enjoy with some cinnamon-raisin toast and winter chai this morning.

She calls this jar Holiday Jam and it’s filled with yummy chunks of cranberries and cherries. SO good and a delightfully sweet treat on toast and butter.

I’m very fortunate to have such a thoughtful friend who puts in the time and effort to share these homemade goodies with those she loves around the country each Christmas.
