Two weeks ago (yes, I’m late on writing this) we had two very rare 70º days here in Maine. Coincidentally, those were the two days I requested time off from work. My first true days off since the catalog was finished. And what a fabulous two days they were!

I baked pumpkin bread, I read an entire book outside, I had a last fire in the fit pit, I had tea, I walked, and I did NOTHING…which was perfectly fine with me. I even had the house to myself for 80% of one day which is very rare.
